A key component in providing the treatment services is capacitating providers with the necessary competencies that ensure consistent quality treatment. Contact us for more information on the training courses available. Training is exclusive for registered health providers only.
The ZSCP supports the Ministry of Health and Child Care with additional consumables. Complementing the MoHCC ensures seamless service provision to the patients. Through this collaboration, patients are able to receive free assessments, treatment and follow up care.
There is a Ponseti Guide or two available at all Ponseti Clinics to help you navigate the treatment journey.
The ZSCP Ponseti Guide program was adopted from HopeWalks, an approach where parents of children once treated of clubfoot come to the clinic as peer counsellors to support patients, caregivers and assist the providers. The shared lived experience between caregivers and Ponseti Guides improves adherence to the treatment plan by demystifying misconceptions and provides success stories.
The Ponseti Guide program benefits many families by significantly reducing social isolation for children with clubfoot and their caregivers. The peer to peer assistance also helps the family confidently navigate the health and social service systems
We also fundraise and provide transport subsidies for the least fortunate. Your donation can provide a round trip to the hospital for a child and their caregiver, when they need it the most.
